Bill Cosby Charged.
US prosecutors have charged Bill Cosby with aggravated sexual assault.In a press conference in Pennsylvania .The assault was alleged to have been committed by Cosby in 2004.The victim was said to have been a lady who worked with Cosby and had previously turned down sexual advances from
him 2ce.Cosby was then said to have given the lady some pills with wine,which rendered her immobile and unable to resist as he assaulted her.
The charges were announced just days before the 12-year statute of limitations for bringing charges was set to run out.
In bringing the case, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman overruled her predecessor, who declined to charge Cosby in 2005 when Temple University employee Andrea Constand first told police that the comic drugged her and violated her by putting his hands down her pants at his mansion in suburban Philadelphia.The prosecutors decided to charge Cosby after new evidence reportedly surfaced in July 2015.
Bill Cosby is facing a very long jail time if found guilty.
