Sokoto Gov Tambuwal release over N12million to buy Sallah cows for orphans

Sokoto state Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has released the sum of over N12million to buy cows for orphans of the state.  The said amount which was released through Zakkat and endowment Committee is meant to buy cows on Sallah day across the 85 District Heads of the state.
When i look at my country Nigeria,i feel so sad,and this tends to be the case often. How does this even make sense?12 million Naira to buy cows for orphans? For a meal that they will have one day and all is forgotten?

How about safeguarding these orphans future?Building adequate schools to put them in,setting up a system that will see them catered for and cared for properly for the next few
years.Buying them clothes,books,toys.
How about a structure that will see this children eat properly for the next 12 months with that amount?Isn't that more important than spending millions on cows for one day?
I am sure those orphans have none of these things i mentioned.Too many times we have seen this.Funny thing is not even all that 12 million Naira will go to this project.Shebi na Naija?

The break down shows that each district head will collect one hundred and thirty thousand naira to buy bull and distribute it to at least forty orphans across the 85 District heads.

Meanwhile, Governor Tambuwal presented twenty five thousand naira to each District head to buy ram on sallah day. The occasion was held at sultan Palace Sokoto.
