Zahra Buhari had her wedding Henna with her friends yesterday.As you can see from the photos,it was a beautiful occassion.
For those who don't know,Henna is traditionally used for special occasions. Also known as laali or mehndi, it is used to beautify the hausa or fulani bride on her wedding day. It takes patience and very steady hands to apply the henna tattoos correctly.You can see from the way Zahra delicately raised her hands,she is very proud of the work that had gone into it.
