Linda Lusardi daughter the voice performance result yesterday, left me shocked.Shocked because i would have expected someone like Sir Tom to know the difference between a great performance and a so so one.Lucy Kane who is the daughter of the page 3 legend,put on a fantastic performance yesterday compared to that of her rival Nadine McGhee.
They sang the Cindy Lauper song,time after time,and frankly the singing of Nadine was so poor that i did not dream for a second that she would get through.
Nevert he less,just like the Leicester City result of winning the premiership last year,we were all shocked when she got through.Maybe the fame of Lucy's mother Linda,worked against her and Tom
felt pressured to pick her,we would never know,but it was a shocking decision.
To make it worse,none of the judges on the Voice opted for their wild card by stealing her.Sad day for the budding singer indeed.

The daughter had been picked for Tom Jones’ team, but she lost her place in the line-up in the battle rounds.Her devastated mum rushed onto the stage to give her a hug.
Lucy, whose dad is Linda Lusardi husband and veteran actor Sam Kane, later got some comforting words from her mother who tweeted-"She did her very best and I love her with all my heart."
The young lady later reacted and added: "What an amazing experience I had.
"Thank you so much to everyone #thevoiceuk I truly had such a wonderful time. So excited for the future x."
