The "Obasanjo Gate" Letter is fast becoming a Nollywood blockbuster! Story so far,Iyabo Obasanjo
supposedly wrote a letter published by Vanguard Newspaper,blasting her dad about all sorts,from being selfish,to a hypocrite,to cruelty to family members and treating females shabbilly..the list goes on...Now there are reports saying she didnt write the letter...so the big 73Million Naira question is,who did? Vanguard revealed in the early hours of this morning that Iyabo was standing by her her
letter,and that she did indeed write that letter..not only that,more revelations are coming from her,this is according to the Vanguard.
When the Vanguard called Obasanjo for his reaction to the letter,this is how the conversation went:Vanguard: Sir, we tried reaching you all through yesterday, to no avail, over the letter written by your daughter, Iyabo, to you.
Chief Obasanjo: You are a bloody idiot, you have published the paper and you are now looking for me, you are an idiot, don’t call me again. When Iyabo finishes you in court…. (hangs up).
Reports coming from OBJ supporters also is that Iyabo didn't write the letter.So its two things,She either wrote the letter and there is strong pressure from family members and friends to refute it.The only way she can do this in my opinion is come on Television or a Press confrence,The second scenario is there is an imposter somwhere who has been calling the Vanguard and pretending to be Iyabo.
Did The Vanguard actually see Iyabo face to face while she made this revelations? Or was this done over the phone? If it was over the phone,how can you ascertain she was the person you were speaking to? More questions than answer...i await Part3 patiently....
