Jose Mourinho has once again put his big foot in it this time doing what could be an enormous damage to his relationship with Samuel Eto by publicly accusing the striker over his real age.While making his thoughts known about the situation at Chelsea.his conversation was picked up and recorded by French television company Canal Plus in what he thought was a private conversation with the owner of the Swiss watch manufacturer Hublot.

In the conversation, Mourinho dissed the club’s strike force before going on to question Eto’o’s age.



The remark by Mourinho is understood to be in reference to the supposed and often true notion that some African players lie about their age.

“I have a team but no striker,” said Mourinho.

“The problem at Chelsea is that we are lacking a goal scorer. I have one [Samuel Eto’o] but he is 32, possibly 35, who knows?” The problem now is how does Mourinho face Eto in the dressing room after this and would the striker now run that extra mile for his manager now that he knows what he really thinks of him?
