TB Joshua says masturbating is a sin..Chris Oyakhilome says it's not...One says you can abort a baby if it was concieved through rape,the other said abortion of any kind is a sin...Are these two men serving the same God?
Anyway in addressing the controversy,TB Joshua took to his facebook page to reveal the following:
"This reminds me of a recent article in which people put me side by side with my brother Pastor Chris Oyakhilome talking about masturbation. Our brother was referring to Christians, not others. Christians who already have a relationship with
God – their wrong is different from others because the root of their wrong is from the flesh, not from the heart. When the root of your wrong is not from the heart, your wrong will make you to run to God the more. That is, it will intensify your relationship with God. I mean, you will see the need of God the more until His name is glorified. Your challenges will make you to honour God before men.
Therefore, we men of God – the Bible is our standard. We cannot disagree because our Bible is one. The understanding of people that read us can only differ. Men of God are a blessing to our generation."
Now i don't know about you,but i have no idea at all what all this means..maybe somebody can help me interprete.
My take personally is this..if you wanna masturbate,its your body,you haven't killed no one or stolen any body's money..so ride on.If you have been raped and decide not to have the baby,once again,its your life,your body and it's you who has been raped so you have a right to decide to have or not have the baby...Full Stop!
