Coach Keshi refuses to answer if Super Eagles Money for Brazil has been resolved

Trouble in paradise-Super Eagles appearance money dispute.
The Super Eagles money issue over their appearance at the world cup has still not been resolved. The Super Eagles players had earlier on in the week demanded for N12.5m
each just like their Ghanaian counterparts were being paid.
But during a question and answer session with Coach Sten Keshi on the internet with Google
plus, the Coach when asked could not shed any light on the matter if it had been resolved or not.
He was asked point blankly if the issue was cleared and he said,he was the wrong person to
ask cos he was not in the players head and don't know if their demands had been met or not.
Of course you and i know this is a ridiculous answer cos he MUST know what is going on in the
camp with the players. This points to the undeniable fact that the issue has still not been
resolved which can only be bad news for the morale of the team and the supporters.
Earlier last week ,the players when meeting the Senate President David Mark, aired their
grievances.
They complained about the appearance money and said they wanted to at least be on par
with the Ghanaian national team.
The Senate president was said to be upset with the NFF and asked why the players had not
been treated fairly like their Ghanaian neighbours who are to be paid $75,000 each.
Also, the Eagles requested that the NFF relocate them from their Victoria Concept hotel in Campinas, which they described as isolated and it makes them look like prisoners unlike
other World Cup teams whose Federations lodged them in better and more ideal places.
The Senate President thereafter appealed to the coaches and the players to put aside
anything that would constitute a distraction to them in the World Cup and focused on
winning the World Cup reassuring them of the determination of President Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan to give them the necessary support in the tournament to make Nigeria proud.

NFF President Aminu Maigari we gathered had to sign an agreement with the team promising
that they will not get anything less than the Black Stars of Ghana.
Sports Minister, Dr Tammy Danagogo who was in attendance at the no-holds-barred meeting
urged the team to do everything possible to make an impressive outing in the tournament.
Present at the meeting were

 Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State;
 Dr. Danagogo; Senator Bala Mohammed,
minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); Chief Edem Duke,
minister of culture and tourism; Mr. Boni Haruna,
minister of youths and social development; Senator Gumba,
Chairman Senate Committee on Sports; Hon. Godfrey Gaiya,
Chairman House Committee on Sports, Alhaji Maigari,
and other executive members of the NFF...It does make you wonder why all these
officials were present. When you take into account their travelling expenses, all 1st class
of course, travelling bonuses and whatever technical jargons that would be used to justify
it,you will realise where all the money that was supposed to go to the players who gave
their sweat and blood goes to..It's always the same old story with Nigeria..you
can bet the last diesel in your generator that this will happen again next time!
