Pastor Chris Okotie is one man who controversy follows.The charismatic pastor has had a few encounters both publicly and privately.There was the high profile court case with his keyboardist Okiotor Dafiaghor (a.k.a. Dafphee) .The keyboardist gave an exclusive interview to Sahara Tv about his relationship with Chris Okotie and i promise you it is explosive and entertaining! Sit back,relax and enjoy.
I am a prophet and i was with Chris okotie for 14 years.I finally left his church in 2009 because i just could not take the deception any more.It was as if he was demonic or callous in his behavior.It took me so long to see the deception cos when you are very close and on the inside,you can't really see what's going on.You have to step back and see from a different angle or leave the church before you can see clearly
He said to be honest a lot of the members at the church had known for a while that things were not right,but typically they kept quiet,looked away saying who am i to judge the lords anointed?Also many pastors he said had perfected the art of telling their congregation to judge not my anointed and do my prophets no harm .He further said the people were scared to offend God and this was why nobody said nothing about Okotie's antics.
He said Okotie was not a man of his words because he promised the musicians at the church a record deal which never materialised.He also told them he was setting up an international record label,and each time he traveled out of the country to America and other places,he always told them he was putting finishing touches to the label.Okiotor Dafiaghor (a.k.a. Dafphee) said Okotie owed him so much money and he told him he was gonna get his money off him(Okotie) Chris Okotie in return then intimidated him,getting him arrested many times and locking him up in jail 2ce.But Dafphee said it comes to a stage when you say to yourself you can only die once.He refuses to be scared or intimidated by Okotie.He revealed Okotie now goes around with body gauards who are armed to the teeth and ready to kill.He said Okotie's guys are better armed than Boko Haram lol..that was the bit that made me fall out of my chair laughing!

Dafphee revealed that he would have not been so pained if the money Chris Okotie owed him was being used for the glory of God.But the money was being used for Okotie's personal stuff,"Okotie buying cars"buying stuff for his girl friends and putting the money into other ventures.He said Okotie invests the church money into other sectors for his won personal gain.He also said it was a common and usual thing for pastors to invest the money of the church into business and when the return comes it goes into their own pockets.It now gets to a point he said when they are making so much money from their businesses and they say,i don't make money from the church."But where did you get your money from"? Because we all know you were not a business man before you came into the chuch!
By now Dafphee was on a roll and spilling more secrets,he tells about how church is a big business and how no church member can ever be as rich as the pastor based on the money they make from each member.He said when he was in Kirikiri prison,courtesy of Okotie,everyday Redeem church and the Catholic church will bring them food.Unfailingly.So he says if he was a member of those churches,he would not mind if they owed him money because he can see they are at least using the money to do good.But not Okotie who says he was called by God but at the same time spends the church money on politics or girlfriends or buying cars.He said the funny thing is they believed him when he said God had asked him to contest for the Presidency.This is why he says the pastor knows the church members are conquered.Because they can tell you anything and you will believe it
He now goes on to reveal some of Okotie's infidelity.Talking about Chris Okotie's women he says, he's not gonna talk about the ones he can't prove.But the ones that are out already in the open.he gave an example of-
"About a certain lady, Roli Adeniyi who is now married to Chief Bode George, that came up in the newspapers and said that she used to go out with Rev Chris Okotie. I know that this is true because I used to see things. We used to make excuses for him...like he's not really doing anything with them. You see a lady at 3am in his house and probably they are just doing prayer meeting,because he's too a man of God for that." He said.
The lady in question Roli,was at the time having problems with her husband.She then went to Okotie who was her Pastor to help sort the problem out."Okotie then stepped in to sort the problem out" He says this very sarcastically by the way with a smile on his face.Roli also at that time was a friend to Pastor Okotie's wife,Tina.He says Tina was actually the one who brought the case to Okotie that my friend and here husband were having problems.Instead of Okotie to help recocile them,he started dating Roli and booked an apartment for her in Sheraton Hotel Lagos for a long time.He then eventually got her an apartment.
Dafphee claims there was another lady called Sister Ose at the church.She also had problems with her husband.She came to Okotie to sort the problem out,but instead Okotie broke them up and till today Sister Ose says it was Okotie who broke up her marriage!
He then asks,how can a man of God who is supposed to mend marriages break them? But he says he is not surprised because "by their fruits you will know them"Pastor Okotie has had two divorces so far,he said in conclusion.
He also talks about somebody coming up to him and asking"Why are you spoiling Chris Okotie's name?"To which he said he replied,"spoiling? i can't spoil Okotie's name,he does that by himself effortlessly"!
An incredible part of Dafphees revelation is when he says Okotie denied dating Roli,stating she was his wife's friend and he was only helping her.Now part of that helping was renting her two shops,one at Alade Market,and one at Tejuosho market.He also rented an apartment for her and bought her two cars plus ,wait for it..8million Naira! Wow..this pastor thing is very profitable o! Now Dafphee he says,he will go to okotie's house play music from morning till night,sometimes not eating..and Okotie would not even offer him food.He said he was thrown out of his apartment because he couldn't pay his rent,and his rent being payed was one of the agreements he had with Okotie in his deal with him.He said all this brought him to the conclusion that,"This na one chance o,i don enter one chance"!! hahahahaa the guy is hilarious.hhahhaahhahha,pls excuse me guys,as i am watching the video,i am typing and this guy is just cracking me up..he is so funny.He says the work they did for Okotie they did not get no credit or payment for.He has been using this works on television and to sell his books and nothing still,the funny part is when he says Okotie says its the work of God,but the guy says God did not call him ,God called Okotie,he does not even know what the voice of God sounds like so he wants his money.
