The big smile on the face of Dwayne The Rock Johnson says it all as he wheels his motheraway from the hospital on a journey home.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s beloved mother has been released from the hospital following a harrowing crash involving a drunk driver last week.
Ata Naivia Johnson was wheeled out of a Florida hospital by her famous son, who posted a photo to his Instagram Tuesday. Ata was smiling but sporting a cast her lower left arm that extended to what appeared to be broken fingers.
Takin’ mama home. Banged up, but she’s a tough one and will make a full recovery” the 42-year-old shared.
He added “grateful to see her smile. And thank you guys for all the prayers, love and well wishes. #GratitudeAndBearHugs #ChoicesMatter #100PercentPreventable #DontDrinkAndDrive.”
Johnson’s mother and his cousin Savelina Fanene were leaving a charity event August 2 in Clemont, Florida when a drunk driver slammed head on into her Cadillac Escalade. Both women were hurt but luckily neither suffered life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle has been charged with DUI.
The Hercules star posted a photo of the terrifying crash scene on Sunday, noting “first reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them. But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived through this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days.”
