later!When i heard Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy are splitting up after 5 years of being engaged,i was not shocked or surprised at all.5 years is too long to be engaged,some get away with it,but in most cases one of the parties is being held at ransome,or else why would they be trying to set an engagement record?
Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy relationship coming to an end was confirmed by a rep for the couple to Us Weekly. "They love each other very much but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," the rep says a statement.
Strahan, 42, and Murphy, 46, got engaged in 2009 after two years of dating. The former NFL star changed careers to television when he officially joined ABC's Live! With Kelly and Michael daytime talk show in September 2012. He also joined Good Morning America as an anchor this past April. Murphy, who was married to Eddie Murphy from 1993 until 2006, is a former model and star of VH1's Hollywood Exes.
The couple announced their split just one day before Strahan is due to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
Talk about bad timing,real bad timing.But i guess no time is a good time for bad news.Wish them both success in their personal and professional endeavours.
