Nigeria govt accused of bias after swift response to Alamieyeseigha son's death

Once again the Nigerian government has been exposed as having no care or regard for the lives of Nigerian citizens except you belong to an elite circle.
Lagos Lawyer Festus Keyamo has condemned the swift response the Federal Government gave to the former Governor of Bayelsa, when he lost his son last weekend in Dubai. According to Keyamo, the Federal Government has paid little or no attention to the call of Mrs Falode, who urged the Government to please intervene in the killing of her young son, who was pushed to his death from a high-rise apartment in Dubai.

“Up till this minute, the Federal Government has not issued a single statement calling on the U.A.E authorities to fish out the killers of Toba Falode. The Federal Government has played the ostrich in the case of Toba, leaving the mother and family grieving alone. The question is, with the swift response in the case of Oyamuyefa Alamieyeseigha, does the Federal Government value the lives of some of its citizens more than others?”, Festus Keyamo asked in a statement released by him today.Of cos we all know the answer to the question.Another good example was Goodluck Joanthan postponing a national council meeting just so they can mourn the death of the vice president's brother.I have never heard of anywhere in the world where this has happened before. And it took the president months to have a meeting with the families of the kidnapped Chibok girls.Nigeria is something else.

He however urged the Government to still look into the killing of Toba Falode, a young Nigerian schooling in Dubai who was murdered on February 15th in the country.
