My French Team mates are scared of me cos of Ebola-Vincent Enyeama

Super eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has disclosed that his team mates at his french club,Lille, are scared to sit next to him or shake him every time he returns from Africa!

32 year-old Enyeama said: “My club Lille,monitors me for three weeks any time I

return from Nigeria because of Ebola and nobody wants to sit around you or shake you then.’’

Enyeama who is currently with the Super Eagles as they prepare for a do-or-die affair with against the Red Devils of Congo in Point Noire on Saturday, commended the Nigeria government for its efforts in curbing the disease.

''I must now commend the Nigerian government for the massive effort they put up to eradicate Ebola from the country and get an approval from the WHO (World Health Organisation).''

Enyeama who is nominated for the CAF African Player Of The Year and the BBC African Footballer Of The Year again admonished CAF to consider the safety concerns of Morocco which pulled out of staging the tournament

“If I were CAF, I will suspend the tournament because Ebola is difficult to contain. But if we qualified, I will play in the tournament.’’Enyeama said.

CAF on Wednesday disqualified Morocco from the tournament after the country rejected the hosting of the Nations Cup next year, citing Ebola

The African body is currently searching for who the next host would be after South Africa, Ghana, and Angola all refused to the offer of hosting Africa.

Enyeama could be out of of the game against Congo following a shoulder injury he suffered, but that still awaits confirmation from the technical crew of the Super Eagles, who are waiting until Friday to reach a final decision

"Vincent is okay for now. Yes he has a slight shoulder injury which is not very serious as it was initially thought. But as a precautionary measure, we will still put him through a last training session which we will have in Congo tomorrow (Friday)," goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmu said
