The war against Ebola continues and help keeps coming in from all angles. There's a lot more help needed still though. The latest to offer assitance to a stricken Ebola infected country is Nigeria.
The Nigerian government has offered drug supplies worth more than $249,000 to Sierra Leone in the fight against Ebola, health ministry statement said here on
Thursday.

The offer was made apart from a $3.5 million donation promised by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan for the fight against Ebola in the sub-region, Xinhua reported citing the statement.
"Nigeria made the donation at the request of the government of Sierra Leone," the statement said.
It also said that Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, had already mobilised and trained over 600 health workers as volunteers to support the containment effort in affected countries within the region under the leadership of the Economic Community Of West African States.
Nigeria was recently declared Ebola-free by the World Health Organization (WHO), after it recorded no new cases of the highly-contagious disease for six weeks since Aug 31.
Nearly 5,000 people have been killed in the latest outbreak of the Ebola disease, mainly in three West African countries, according to WHO.
