Desmond Elliot yesterday won the primary elections to represent his party APC at the forthcoming elections into the Lagos State House of Assembly.Elliot has taken to twitter to thank his fans and many supporters.I'm worried though reading his message."God has done it"! I worry when i see politicians naming God or asking God to do something,for me it shows they are either not up to the job or will use the same God to make excuses when they don't deliver.Cos it now becomes,Oh it's God's plan for it not to happen.As far as i'm concerned,God has nothing to do with politics! I don't care how many times you pray..A politicians destiny is in his own hands..you have the tools ,use it and stop making excuses damn it!
But i still hope Desmond Elliot delivers,we need some young dynamic people with fresh ideas in government to make changes..i hope Desmond is a start of many.
