All Yinka Ayefele's fan must know that an unfortunate accident many years ago left him wheel chair bound.
Yinka Aiyefele today remembers the accident and wrote on his Facebook page how
today 12th December, 2014 marks the 17th year he had an accident on his way to Abeokuta, Ogun State.Ayefele was however thankful to God for his life and in a philosophical mood.

Rejoice and thank God with me. the journey started exactly 17yrs ago, it was on Friday December 12th 1997. On my way to Abeokuta where I had that ghastly motor accident. it was indeed MY TURNING POINT. "ODUNMBAKU" I will for ever be grateful to you my Lord. Thank you all for your love, support and encouragement.
Hwe has gone on to far greater things since the accident,and the accident was a catalyst to his change in fortune.
