APC Governorship aspirant,Akinwunmi Ambode,has said he will not discriminate against any ethnic group as governor of Lagos State if elected.
Here is a statement from the office of APC Guber candidate in Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode on the Oba of Lagos alleged threatening statement to the Igbos.There had been some stories going round that,the Oba of Lagos,Oba Akiolu,had threatened the Igbos in Lagos to vote the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akinwunmi Ambode or die in the lagoon.

Every group in Lagos will be safe in my hands as governor. I will not discriminate
against any religious or ethnic group. It is our Lagos and we must build it together. In my acceptance speech after the primaries I made this note that I will be a governor for all and Lagos is safe in my hands. I want to build on the foundation of unity, peace and progress and development laid by my predecessors. I am your best choice for a Lagos that must continue to thrive. And though tongue and tribe may differ we Stand in brotherhood in Lagos from the smallest ethnic groups to the major ones. We are all stakeholders.

Ambode will probably win the election based on his running on the PC platform.But i am not convinced by the guy..everytime i read about Jimi Agbaje,i am more convinced by him..His plans what he has to say..Akinwunmi Ambode for me sounds like he hasn't really got a plan..He was just anointed and lucky to be there..Shame Agbaje is not an APC member,cos i think he would have made a good governor..but then again let's wait and see..there maybe a shocker in store...
