Immortality charade as President Jonathan names Roads after himself and his cronies in Abuja

President Goodluck Jonathan has decided to name a Road in Abuja after himself, less than 4 weeks to him vacating power! Nigeria is just an incredible country.Even if President Jonathan is to have a road named after him,it should not be done by his own administration and 4 weeks before leaving. This totally stinks from
here to the high heavens! They conveniently put together the names of a few Nigerians so as to say its a general scale and name roads in Abuja after them. Why? What have these people done? I can only see about 4 or 5 people here who deserve immortality.Kofi Anan among them.Take the Vice President Sambo for example? What has that man ever done for Nigeria in his life?

He must be the most faceless and less effective VP ever to walk this earth! The man Sambo should be made to pay back every single Kobo he earnt in office as Nigeria's vice president! Yet he is having a road named after him in Nigeria. The whole thing is a bloody joke.President Jonathan is trying to leave his name on the pages of history for ever.Well ,he should have done something worthwhile for the nation and Nigerians would have been screaming for everything to be named after him!

Vice President Namadi Sambo, even he looks baffled at having a road named after him in Abuja.
If all these people are having streets named after them, why isn't Olusegun Obasanjo having a street named after him? He has been a 3 time Nigerian president and more effective that the Jonathan joke administration. Why hasn't Professor Jega had a road named after him for his work with INEC which was hailed by many?like i said once again, the whole thing is a joke..Nigeria is just one big comedy!
Here is how the wonderful news was reported below...
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory revealed plans to rename some major streets and road in the FCT after some prominent Nigerians,President Jonathan included.

In a statement released today April 27th by his spokesperson, Nosike Ogbuenyi, the ministersaid those to be honored with street names include President Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President, late Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, former Speaker of House of Representatives and Katsina State Governor-elect, Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, former Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Dahiru Musdapha, Business moguls, Femi Otedola, Aliko Dangote and several others.

The statement stated that soon-to-be commissioned Inner Southern Expressway which dissects Abuja city centre was named after President Jonathan while the longest Wuye district boulevard express road measuring 1,730 metres was named after former VP Atiku Abubakar.

Can't argue with Kofi Anan's omission about having street named after him in Abuja.

Prominent personalities to be honoured by naming streets after them in the Asokoro extension district include former Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Anan, South African anti-Apartheid activist, late Walter Sisulu, former President of Sudan, Gaafar al-Nimeiry, former Minister of State for FCT, late Prof. Miriam Ikejiani-Clark, former Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi and 16 others.

Those having roads and streets named after them in Guzape district in the FCT include; former FCT Minister and Governor-elect of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, former Inspector-General of Police,Sunday Adewusi, former Science and Technology Minister, Major-Gen. Sam Momah, former Special Duties Minister, late Alhaji Wada Nas, former Attorney General of the Federation, late Mr. Clement Akpamgbo, incumbent FCT Minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and 60 others.

They are changing all the flipping street names in Abuja, they might as well change the name of Nigeria while they are at it.What a joke!
