The man who promised to walk from Lagos to Abuja,Suleiman Hashimu the traveler,has finally arrived in Abuja.
Suleiman promised to walk from Lagos to Abuja if General Muhammadu Buhari won the 2015 Presidential election.Well,Buhari won and the rest as they say is history.Suleiman the
traveler,has become somewhat of a celebrity now as he dominates blogs and fills National dailies.He has met Chiefs and traditional rulers,and as you can see from these pictures,the people have taken to him as they come out in their droves to meet him.
It is not known yet if there are any plans for Suleiman, the man who trecked from Lagos to Abuja to meet General Buhari,but i wil be surprised if Bhari does not take some time out to meet a man who has walked thousands of kilometres to Abuja based on him winning the election.Suleiman promised to walk from Lagos to Abuja if Buhari won and he stuck to his words,doing just that.Now if only our lraders can follow such examples of doing as they promised.
