1. Nicki Minaj and Taylor perform together.
After their very public Twitter war, Nicki and T-Swizzle officially solidified their friendship for good by performing on the VMA stage together. After Nicki performed "Trini Dem Girls," Taylor joined her for "The Night Is Still Young," and ending with a little of Tay's hit, "Bad
Blood." They even hugged it out. SWIFTIES AND BARBZ UNITE!

2. Nicki Minaj called out Miley Cyrus on stage for dissing her!

Following Miley Cyrus' comments in a recent New York Times interview about Nicki Minaj starting a 'pop star war,' Nicki threw clapped back at Miley on stage during the VMAs. After Nicki won the "Best Hip Hop Video" award, Nicki said to Miley, "This b*tch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. What's good?" To which Miley responded, "We're all in this industry. We all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate sh*t." It's not clear whether they were just acting, or Nicki was serious, but the moment definitely garnered an OH SNAP from everyone. ��

3. Demi Lovato and Iggy Azalea finally revealed their collaboartion during an on-stage performance of their "Cool For The Summer" remix

Besites Demi Lovato and Iggy Azalea have been teasing that they have a collaboration together for a while -- and the Lovatics and Azaleans finally heard at the VMAs -- a "Cool For The Summer" remix!

4. Justin Bieber gives us ALL THE FEELS with his "What Do You Mean?" performance

Justin Bieber not only released his new single, "What Do You Mean?," last week, but also performed the song for the first time at the VMAs over the weekend. Biebs kicked off his performance with "Where Are U Now -- which he SLAYED with all of his choreography -- and then moved on to "What Do You Mean?" After his performance, he emotionally broke down and was weeping on stage. And we totally cried along with him. ��

5. Taylor Swift and Kanye West take the VMA stage 

After their infamous 2009 VMA moment, Taylor Swift and Kanye West once again graced the VMA stage together. Taylor Swift gave Kanye his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and revealed that College Dropout was actually one of the first CDs that she and her brother ever bought. YEEZY FO LIFE.

6. Kanye West announces he is running for President of the United States in 2020 

Kanye West accepted his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and gave a speech discussing a number of things at length. But he ended by announcing that he would be running for President of the United States during the next Presidential election -- in 2020. Yeezy for Prez. y'all! 

7. Miley Cyrus performs a new song and announces a free album, Miley Cyrus and her Dead Petz

Miley Cyrus ended this year's VMAs with an epic performance full of drag queens, bright colors, and a new song -- AND ALBUM. At the end of her new song, Miley made sure to tell everyone to go download her new surprise album, for free!
