Linda Ikeji blog EFCC trouble is rumoured to be pending. There are talks on social media sparked off by a tweet from media man Kayode Ogundamisi that a popular Lagos blogger was paid N240m of the Dasuki arms money by the PDP.
It has now been made known that Nigeria's most popular blogger is the one being talked about.
Jonathan's Special Assistant Dudafa Waripamo,If you believe what is being said on social media.

As you can imagine, this has caused such a huge talking point with some people saying Linda should be arrested, while others are saying she has done nothing wrong and only charged them for her services. It should be noted though that Linda has not been officially named as the Lagos based blogger who received the N240m.Ever since the blogger bought her N500m mansion in Banana Island, there has been speculations about where she got the money for such an incredible house. Some said she could never made that money from blogging and must have been paid through blackmailing rich and powerful personalities.Others said she was paid off by a political party.

At the time of the elections,Linda had asked her readers if she should accept offers from political parties to post their adverts on her blog or not.She said the money they were offering was ridiculous and if she accepts, she and her readers will all enjoy the money together.
Statements such as these suggests Linda might have indeed been paid huge sums of money to post adverts.
But my take is,as long as she did not launder money for anyone,Linda is innocent and has no need to fear prosecution. They came to her and she gave them a quote for her services. It is up to you to say yes i will pay or no thank you.
I would not personally say Linda is connected to #Dsukigate. She was only doing her job,Dasuki arms trial is surely proving to be one of the most intriguing probes ever in Nigeria.

But it doesn't end there, big mouth Kemi is convinced Linda was paid for keeping quiet on a story. She said Goodluck Jonathan's special assistant, Dudafa paid her to not run a story. He gave her N240m she said.Well,if this is true, that must be a hell of a story..see Kemi Olunloyo's tweets below..pretty interesting read.

UPDATE

So, social commentator and activist Kayode Ogundamisi tweeted this today…he didn’t mention any names but I am now trending on Twitter. Many assume he’s talking about me…and you can’t blame them really. He said…popular! I’m somewhat popular! He said female.. I’m female…duh! Lol. He said Lagos…I live in Lagos…some posh place called Banana Island..lol. #Just teasing! So people are reacting and some actually believe it! That PDP or someone in the party gave me N240m? For what? Advert? This was why I didn’t want to get politics advert money in the first place o…and but then some of you advised that I do when I asked here and now see the gbege that I have entered…lol.
But seriously for the record...no party registered or unregistered, no human being dead or alive gave me N240m for anything. The only advert I did for PDP was a page background take-over for former president Jonathan... and they asked for the space after I did a page background take-over for APC's Akinwunmi Ambode. (I'm sure you all saw it). The two parties paid me same amount. I had a politics advert rate which I sent to everyone who wanted to advertise on LIB! And it was a few millions ...which some of you followed to chop inside in the giveaway that April...lol. #Kidding!

Ride on Linds..even if you had been paid, you were only doing your job.
