Late Rashidi Yekini's mother Alhaja Sidikat Yekini now lives in penury in Ira town,Kwara State selling bread for survival..
SRSportdotcom gathered from a source in Kwara State who revealed that life has been pretty difficult for the Yekini’s family since the death of the former African football king. It was also gathered that Alhaja Sidikat cried out for help few months ago, after revealing that ‘life
has been difficult for her’ since the passing of her son.
“My son has served this country, and I want the government and other people to come to our aid because It would not be good for me to die in this situation,” she pleaded.
Nigeria has been known to fail its stars in the past. But i think in this case ,its more Yekini's family that should carry the blame on this woman's plight.Yekini has properties that he left behind. He also has a huge house in Ibadan,Nigeria that has about 5 or 6 flats. But you know what? The house is abandoned with nobody leaving in it.
If that house is rented out,Rashidi Yekini's mother would have enough money coming to her to survive and live a good life.
How much can she make selling bread a day?The family need to sort this out.
