Full list of Mtv Mama 2016 winners in South Africa and Red carpet fashion

The full list of Mtv Mama 2016 winners saw Nigerian acts smile home with the biggest awards.Mega stars Wizkid,Yemi Alade,new sensation Tekno as well as the collaboration between Pato Ranking and Wande Coal were big winners on the night.

I guess Wizkid in particular was not a surprise.He has had a phenomenal year with huge hits such as Ojuelegba and One dance with Drake which was a huge No 1 all over the world and tossed him into mega stardom.

Another winner who fully deserved his award is Tekno.The young man is fast becoming a legend in the making and huge songs like Duro,Pana and Wash has got the whole of Africa dancing.

South Africa who always gives Nigeria a close match as well had a good night. Cassper Nyovest picked up Best Live Act while Emtee was Best Hip Hop. Caster Semenya won the 2016
Person of the Year.Old timer and African music legend, Hugh Masekela was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kenya who also has a strong musical pedigree had Sauti Sol cart home the Mtv mama award for Best Group.
