    A popular Nigerian drug lord who was deported from Kenya,has been jailed after he smuggled himself back into the country.
    Emmanuel Inobemhe, who had been declared a prohibited immigrant and deported, has been jailed for three years. He had been sent back to Nigeria, in June, 2016, but sneaked back into Kenya on September 20.

    He was investigated by the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit for terrorism connections. Today, Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo said the offence committed by Inobemhe is serious and
    touches on the security of the country.

  • The magistrate sentenced him to serve three years in prison for defying an order from Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery. Inobemhe is also facing a charge of drug trafficking, which is listed for a hearing on November 8.
