I will never be able to justify or understand the callousness and devilish arogance Governor Adams Oshiomhole showed toward that poor lady who called herself a widow! "I beg i am a widow " She wailed..."you are a widow?Go and die"! Replied the Governor! No feelings of empathy or human kindness...Yes this woman broke the law..but anyone who saw that woman will know she is a woman who
probably survives on 200Naira a day! Did the Governor bother to ask her why she was hell bent on selling in that area? Did he ask her what her problem was and what the goverment could do to help the less privileged? Did he for a second stop to think it was because of people like these who were down on their last luck he was elected and had to do all he can to make their lives better?Did he stop for a second to think in the full glare of all the watching people and Tv cameras he can show some understanding and caring by at least talking to the woman and explaining why selling there is not in the intrest of their and the public and further win the people over by saying" I am here for the poor and under privileged masses,so i am going to empathise with your
suffering,take your goods and go home and promise never to come here again"! Would that have been too much? Would this not have shown the human side of the Governor further endearing him to the public! Our leaders are the most uncaring ,selfish and heartless people! Not only the do they show this by looting the National treasury,they also show this by their total disregard and contempt for the poor man! In most civilised countries Oshiomhole would have been asked to tender his resignation after this terrible power show!
