Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a man of many talents and many sides.His controversial lifestyle was as much highlighted as his musical talent.His Love for Marijuana and women too was legendary.Here we discover an interesting encounter with Fela and his girls at his Kalakuta Republic Residence in 1973 when 13 girls locked him in a bathroom.The encounter is
recalled by Mac Tontoh.Mac was a founding member of the Great Ghanaian band Osibisa who had many international hits all over the world such as Celebration,We are Going,Sunshine Day,just to name a few.He and Fela developed a close relationship both in Ghana and Nigeria,although in later years it became a prickly one.Sit back and take in the Fela bathroom and girls story,its a crazy one..one that only Fela could have starred in....
"That was in 1973.We were hearing in London that Fela had 10 cars and a swimming pool and women around.-as if it's some great place.So when me and Teddy went to visit him,we saw broken cars around and we saw this girl unirating around the edge of the pool....He called for some ready rolled stuff(Marijuana)and started to throw then about at people,even though by that time we had stopped smoking.We were sitting with Fela and he suddenly said he wanted to have a bath.So about three of four girls came with sponges,and they stripped him in front of us and they led him like a King to the bathroom..So the four girls locked him in the bathroom.

Then six other girls came and started knocking on the bathroom door saying they wanted to be F**d too,and complained that they hadn't had s3x with him for so many days.And we spent about thirty minutes waiting for him.Finally he came out with the girls and with his trousers in a mess.Then as soon as he came out with us another three girls complained they hadn't had s3x with him.so they went into the bathroom with Fela and started on him.It was too much for me as i had known Fela as a mild and gentle man.And i remember Fela's older brother used to come to the house and advise him about his life but Fela didn't listen."

Wow! Fela must have discovered Viagra 30 years before the world did..if even half this story is true,the man must be from outer space!Can you imagine that,it's like a scene from a movie,13 girls locking one man up in a bathroom?In one day?
