Bowen University Iwo ask's Students to wear Sandals,Uniforms&Cut Grass as punishment

Nigeria..why do we always excell in creating situations that make no sense and totally unnecessary? Take Bowen University,Iwo..remember there was a riot there recently?The authorities responded by asking

the students to sign an undertaking which includes accepting all punishments meted to them like cutting grass and also comply to wearing uniform and sandals. That is the most ridiculous thing i have heard in yonks!! WHY? University students wearing Uniforms and sandals?
