Sony Music In Nigeria as Major Labels are finding their way back to the Music Boom!

Judging from the message and picture on Dban'js instagram page today,It looks like the majot music labels are gonna start trooping back into Nigeria like in the 60s and 80s. Executives from Sony music are in Nigeria and they also payed a visit to Coson offices..Coson deals with copyriht issues and collect royalties for artists in Nigeria.

It should be interesting though cos i dont see how these labels,if they come to Nigeria are gonna make money,cos nobody buys music anymore.Its all piracy and free downloads now,except they have a way they are gonna shut down that online,which i don't think is gonna happen.The money is strictly in Performing,endorsement etc..then again they might feel the money in live shows is enough for them cos that is a huge market in Nigeria.
