Rumours about Mavin Records ownership.

Apparently there have been rumours online that a politician,Folly Coker was the real owner of Don Jazzy's Mavin records.The rumours also stated that Folly Coker was the reason of Tiwa Savage's marriage break up,Now i don't know about you,but i never
heard these rumours.It makes no sense to me how Mavin Records can be owned by someone else.Don Jazzy is too smart a business man to let that happen,"Omo Ibo fun ra ra e" lol.You can't mess with an ibo man when it comes to business.
I will not be surprised if all this was just a Pr ploy to get Folly Coker's name out there.
Here is a statement released by Folly Coker's camp regarding the rumours

Folly Coker,rumoured to own Mavin Records and an affair with Tiwa Savage.

"The gentleman described his alleged ownership of Mavin Records as the figment of the imagination of fantasts. In the last few days, the rumours of Folly Coker, being at the centre of the alleged troubled marriage of Tiwa Savage, 34, and Tunji Balogun, 36, flew around town with quite a few blogs and sites publishing the unsubstantiated claim.

But sources close to the tall and handsome son of Chief Folarin Coker have defended him as having nothing to do with Tiwa Savage and Mavin Records.

“These reports are tissues of lies," one insider said. “Folly knows Don Jazzy and likes his music a lot. But he has no investment in Mavin Records. These things are pure lies.

“For Tiwa Savage, you cannot even say they are friends, not to talk of lovers. They don’t exchange text messages or anything. 

“The story is definitely sponsored – and there’s no iota of truth in it. Legal action has commenced against the fabricators of the damaging tale.”

The whole makes no sense to me,one thing i'm sure of though is,this is a ploy,now it could be from Folly Coker's camp or as Folly's people suggested ,from some people who sponsored the story.
