A bomb went off at Government Science & Technical Secondary School Potiskum Yobe State this morning 10th Nov. Many students are feared dead after the
explosion!Reports i am getting so far is that,the bomb went off at the morning Yobe school's morning assembly and so far 13 people were dead.How many of those that are students is not known yet. I am just sick of all these killings! What kind of people do this to school children?I'm afraid Goodluck Jonathan's government has proved that they have no clue in how to maintain security and safety of Nigerian citizens,He really should go.
This is ridiculous.If a small group of insurgents as Boko Haram keep killing innocent Nigerians with the government helpless and making no positive or encouraging steps,we are in serious trouble.
There are no full reports yet as to the exact number of casualties at the Government Science & Technical Secondary School, Potiskum Yobe State explosion.But shall keep you updated.Really sad and annoying as well as frustrating news.

Many students are feared dead after a bomb went off during assembly this morning at Government Science & Technical Secondary School, Potiskum Yobe State. A teacher and a medic told AFP:
"The students had gathered for the morning assembly when something exploded in their midst with a thunderous sound at exactly 7:50 am (0650 GMT). The explosion has affected many students but I can't say how many because we are now evacuating the victims to the hospital which is just 100 metres (yards) away," the teacher added, sobbing.A medic at the Potiskum General Hospital where the victims were taken said scores of students had
been admitted.
"We are still receiving casualties from the school which is a stone's throw from here. Our priority now is to save the injured, so we have not started a headcount of the victims."A local resident, Adamu Alkassim, said there was confusion in and around the school but the scene was a mass of abandoned footwear and blood. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack but Boko Haram militants are likely to be the prime suspects.

A resident close to the house of the Emir of Kukuri, opposite the school, Mallam Inusa Ahmadu told DailyPost that, a suicide bomber who detonated the explosion disguised as a student and joined them on the assembly ground, killing over 40 of them.
” We wanted to go into the school to ascertain the number of casualty but we were told that the suicide bombers were three and there could be another explosion, we withdrew, but some students who ran away from the school told us that 41 students were killed in the bomb attack. I did not go in, but most of the students who ran for safety some of whom are currently in our house said 41 students were killed and many injured.”he said
According to him, the explosion occurred exactly around 7:59 am. “The security operatives are currently in the school and we saw bodies of both wounded and the dead being carried to the General Hospital, while many residents are trooping to the hospital to check for their wards. But the fear of another explosion in the school would not let people get into the school premises.” He added.
