79yr old man stabbed to death in Findon road rage by man in his 30s!


A 79 year old pensioner has been stabbed to death in a Findon A24 road rage incident by a man described to be in his 30s after a car crash.The Sussex police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.


What kind of man gets out of a car after a crash and stabs an old man of 79 years more than twice his age to death cos of a car crash?It just shows one has to be really careful when driving cos you have no idea what kind of psycho might be behind you.
It is believed the stabbing took place after two cars collided on the A24 at Findon, West
Sussex, on Thursday night, Sussex Police said.The man got out of the car in front and attacked the driver of the other car before getting back into his vehicle and driving off.

 Police officers say they are treating the incident as a suspected road rage attack.A Sussex Police source said: "We believe the car behind bumped into the one in front and gave it a minor, rear-end shunt.

An air ambulance landed at the scene and paramedics carried out first aid on the man but he died at the roadside.
The pensioner has not yet been named by police.
Sarah Hand, from Worthing, drove past the scene soon after the stabbing and said she believed there was an elderly woman travelling in the car with the victim.
She wrote on Facebook: "There just after it had happened. That poor man. Horrible to have had an accident and then find you've lost a loved one.
"I literally drove past about 10 minutes after it must of (sic) happened. I saw very little apart from a lady in the back of the ambulance and lots of people including police and ambulance around someone in the central reservation. I really don't have more to offer. I wish I did. Simply outrageous."
Police close the road where 79 year old man was stabbed in Findon on the A24.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 30 and 40, 6', skinny with shoulder length brown wavy hair with a thin face. His car is described as a pale coloured old style vehicle.
It is not yet known if he was on his own.Detective Chief Inspector Karen Mizzi of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team said: "Officers have been urgently making enquiries overnight to trace the suspect. We need to hear from witnesses who saw the collision, the suspect or the car involved, particularly if anyone filmed the incident or saw anyone filming it.
"Specially trained officers are supporting the victims family at this extremely difficult time.""A suspect who was in the car in front got out and stabbed the driver of the other car. The air ambulance landed and paramedics carried out first aid on the victim, but he died at the scene.
"The suspect got back in the vehicle and drove off. Inquiries are ongoing to trace the suspect. The A24 is currently shut in both directions by the Black Horse pub."
She added: "It is a well used major road between Worthing and Guildford and we believed there must have been people around at the time who might be able to help."
