Nigeria beat Ghana 2-0 in All Africa Games football match.

The football opening match of the 2015 All Africa Games could not have seen a better match to start with as the Nigerian and Ghanaian teams are the bitterest rivals of many years. But it was the Dream Team VI of Nigeria that beat their Ghanaian counterparts the Black Meteors 2-0

Two second half goals from Junior Ajayi and Kingsley Sokari ensured that Nigeria got off to
a bright start in their quest for gold in the male football event of the ongoing All Africa Games.Yet to taste action in Congo owing to the pull out of Egypt, Coach Samson Siaisia was desperate to start on the right note in Wednesday’s game against the defending champions Ghana.

Siasia had warned his players that they will need to take their chances if they are to come out victorious against their Ghanaian counterparts.

Though  it was not the best of performance, the Dream Team registered seven shots on target and scored two goals.

Nigerians are celebrating all over the world today just as the Ghanaians would have done if they had won this match,Nigeria 2 Ghana 0 is a result coach Samson Siasia of the Dream team VI will certainly be very pleased about today. Nigeria hope to now win Gold after beating the team they see as their biggest obstacle.The Ghanaians on their part,now have to restrategize and make up for this defeat if they want to fulfill their ambition of winning the gold at the 2015 all African Games football tournament.
