The Nigerian journalist Simon Ateba ,who was arrested in Cameroon on suspicions of being a Boko Haram spy,has been released by Cameroonian authorities after 3 nights in a mosquito ridden dirty smelly cell! (what was he expecting? lol)
Ateba said after many days of interrogation,he was finally handed back his passport and allowed to travel out of the country.Here is the message he shared on social media below...
He was released yesterday September 1st. He announced his release on his Facebook page and what transpired while he was detained.
