Hairdresser arrested for banning Muslims
I think it is a bit harsh to arrest this woman.I think what they could have done was warn her against her conduct.She didn't exactly incite violence did she? I never heard of the authorities banning all those who openly had signs of No Black,No Irish No Dogs when they were advertising for tenants back in the 60s.I know that was a long time ago,but how could
they have allowed that?
The beauty salon owner who made Facebook posts saying she would no longer take bookings from Muslims in the wake of the Paris terror attacks,was subsequently arrested .
According to Thames Valley Police ,
A 43-year-old woman was arrested under section 19 of the Public Order Act.Section 19 relates to "the display of written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting with the intention of stirring up racial hatred, and for producing malicious communications."The woman has been named locally as April Major, proprietor of Oxfordshire at-home salon Blinks of Bicester.
She has not as yet been charged with an offence.
