Keshi burial.Still feels surreal and like a bad dream that these are actually pictures of Stephen Keshi burial.Hard to believe that a man who was full of life and was celebrating leading Nigeria to glory in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013 which seems like yesterday is no more.
The former Super Eagles Coach and captian's corpse arrived in Delta state today.Delta State Government officials were at Alifikede ,the boundary between Delta and Edo State to receive the body of Keshi. There was a lying-in-state ceremony at the sports hall of Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, while a service of songs/vigil mass held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Illah, Delta State.Among those present at the funeral ceremony were Keshi ex Super Eagles team mates who all spoke about how they will miss the big boss.Mutiu Adepoju,Ukechukwu Uche,Austin Eguavon and Peter Rufai were some of the ex Nigeria internationals present to see of their friend and pay respect.
