Comedian Ali Baba and Freeze of Cool Fm address Mark Zukerberg's humility.

Mark Zukerberg's visit to Nigeria has sure left many impressions.I think the most talked about aspect of the Facebook CEO who is worth several billion dollars is his humility. He wears tee shirts, does not wear a wrist watch and displays no iota of wealth at all. This led to many Nigerians marvelling at Zukerberg's life and also led to public figures Ali Baba the comedian and DJ Freeze of Cool FM air their views...Freeze'z view can be seen above while Ali Baba's is below...enjoy.

Just days ago, I wrote about how people use their hopes and aspirations to judge other people's realities. @floydmayweather is not as rich as @zuck, and they definitely do not have the same lifestyles. They both do not have the same path to success.
They as sure as day, do not also have the same pleasures. The problem we have, that then begins to define our vision of everything around us, is that we expect our situation, or the situation of other people, to orchestrate ours. We even then use it as a yardstick to judge others. We all have different ways of expressing our successes. You can't decide mine. That said, let me talk of something that also drives home this point. 2 artistes get paid a cumulative N15m each for different shows. One goes shopping. Shoes. Wristwatches. Necklaces. Jeans. Champagne. Car. And is turning up at different events #LOUD. The kind of society we have recognizes his success. The other artiste, sets up a studio. Pays school fees for some people, supports his colleagues careers, completes a house for his mum, puts N5m in fixed deposit for a home ownership project, lives the same in the eyes of the society #QUIET. The kind of society we have, is the one that will believe that the loud guy is the most successful. The society does not really know what his plans are. They want to see you show it.

This is exactly why people get into political offices and they are pushed to steal. The other day one lady asked me why I showing off in a monster truck when people are hungry. My monster truck is below N4m. The same lady attended a wedding at Civic Center, her diamonds necklace, wristwatch, rings, bracelets and Chanel bag would round up nicely at N14m plus or minus! But I am the one who shows off. So, as @daddyfreeze has explained, @simoncowell may wear a T-shirt, but will he stay in a $80 a night hotel room? I will stay in $30 hotel SEF. All fingers no equal. What we should learn how to do is not equate ourselves with others when it comes to rewarding ourselves. I can afford it, but you won't see me pouring champagne on the floor to show I have arrived. Some people who own Gwagons are not as rich as those who don't own one. Choices differ
