Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu were involved in a big argument in the early hours of this morning over Goodluck Jonathan,the argument led to Buhari pushing Tinubu in the chest who then stumbled into a chair!
While Nigerian's were celebrating the effect of change and THE ELCTION of Muhammadu Buhari..the man himself was involved in a near bitter fight with the man who arguably was behind the execution of plans to make him president,Bola Ahmed Tinubu.Apparently,it had been agreed between both men that as soon as Buhari is voted into power,they were going after Goodluck
Jonathan with all guns blazing and aim to bring him to justice,leading to a jail term.
But President elect Muhammadu Buhari, had a change of heart when he was moved by the humility showed by Jonathan in accepting defeat and calling to congratulate Buhari and concede defeat.There was also a peace delegation led by ex head of state,General Abubakar,who appealed to Buhari to treat Goodluck Jonathan with respect.
With all this in mind,Buhari revealed to Bola Tinubu this morning that,there was going to be a change of plan and Goodluck Jonathan would not be hounded,tried,with the intention to jail no more.
On hearing this,Bola Tinubu was said to have lost his mind and said Buhari was already selling out before even assuming power officially.Tinubu insisted Goodluck Jonathan was to be tried and jailed like they had both agreed.
The argument became so heated that Rotimi Amaechi,Governor Fashola of Lagos and the Vice President elect Osinbajo,tried to cool both men down,at this point Buhari was alleged to have pushed Bola Tinubu,who stumbled and fell onto a chair...Some foreign journalist's who were present were at this point ushered out..but not before a French journalist had somehow managed to get a 3 second footage of Buhari Pushing Boa Tinubu in the chest.
The French publication "les nouvelles" said they feel they had the right to publish the picture of the said fracas between the two political giants of the APC party,Buhari and Tinubu.
It remains to be seen if the fight was just one of those things that happen due to high feelings boiling over.No announcement has been made today about the picture being genuine or not.
