This will go down as Steve Harvey's most embarrassing moment of his career.Harvey, the Miss Universe pageant 2015, host, announced Miss Colombia as the Miss Universe winner then realized his mistake and corrected the announcement to Miss Philippines as the winner.I mean ,the man is a comedian but he didn't have to bring that to the Miss Universe pageant,did he? Harvey took to Twitter to apologize for the blunder and Twitter responded
by being both mean and sympathetic.
Reacting to the events,Colombia's president Juan Manuel Santos on Monday said he was shocked when Miss Colombia won and then immediately lost the Miss Universe crown.
"Our queen was marvelous. She looked spectacular. It was such a disappointment when the host said he'd made a mistake," he told Radio Nacional.
"I was watching Miss Universe with my family. We started a huge celebration when they said Colombia had won the Miss Universe title for the second straight year,"
"To me, our queen is and will remain Miss Universe. They put the crown on her head. The photos are there to prove it. To me, as a Colombian, she is still Miss Universe" he concluded.
