The cause of death of Lynn Faulds wood,has been established.The wife of John Stapleton died of a massive stroke and a subsequent bleed on the brain at the age of 72,according to a statement released by her family.
The former BBC Watchdog presenter who was
also a cancer campaigner,presenter and journalist, passed away peacefully at 12 noon on Friday 24th April with her husband Stapleton and son Nick at her bedside.
She had ealier survived cancer of the bowel and went on to call for better awareness of the illness.
Dame Esther Rantzen and fellow presented Nicky Hamilton,are among those who have paid tribute to the death personality.
She was married to actor John Stapelton in 1977,they have a son Nick,who was born in 1987.
