Lagos state gives N5m to man whose 4 children died in mudslide.

This is very sad, remember the man who lost 4 of his children in a mudslide in Lagos state?
Mr Okeoseye Odiah, who lost his four children in the mudslide disaster in Magodo area of Lagos recently was given N5 million by the Lagos state government.I know the money cannot bring back his kids, but it gives him a chance to start his life all over again.Better to
rebuild with a roof over your head and comfort, than rebuild in a slumber.
In the early hours of 4:50am on Saturday, 7th of November, 2015,the Policeman lost his four children after mud detached from a hill at Isheri, Magodo area of Ojodu Berger landed on the building located in Orisha, Magodo Phase1
The cheque was presented on behalf of the Lagos state governor by the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations, Mr Seye Oladejo.
He said government would do everything possible to look after the family, noting that the gesture would assist the family in securing accommodation.

  1. I remember man quite well! I was afraid that he could commit suicide. I really felt for the man. After the rain come shine. Thank Gov Ambode! May God bless you.
